  mariel john Mariel is currently a student at George Washington University, pursuing a Masters degree in International Science and Technology Policy. She has had an interest in international development since her years at MIT and Cambridge, during which time she pursued a Bachelors degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering with a minor in Applied International Studies. Her other interests include reading and traveling.
  aditya wagh Aditya is a student at Bombay University, working towards a masters' degree in computer science. He casually tagged along with Pooja and Mariel on their most recent trip to Pabal -- only to become hooked! As a Mumbai native, Aditya acts as engINdia's closest liaison to Pabal. His interests include performing highly impressive card tricks and keeping abreast of politics.
  pooja wagh Pooja is currently taking six months away from her job in the States to pursue her passion for developing grassroots businesses through two internships in Ghana and Uganda. When she returns in July, she will return to her position as a consultant with IBM Global Business Services in New York City. She hopes to begin an MBA program within the next few years. Her interest in international development was peaked when she initiated the first expedition to Pabal in 2005. Her other interests include traveling, dancing and fine food.

  elliott furminger 3rd-year British Civil Engineering student at Jesus College Cambridge. Elliott's travels have seen him around Brazil, Morocco and Mexico. He has a keen interest in rowing and trekking and is semi-fluent in French.
  tim laundon 2nd-year British Archaeology and Anthropology student at Corpus Christi College Cambridge. World Challenge Expedition to Mongolia, summer 2001. Taught English at Hong Duc University, Northern Vietnam, 2002-3. Timothy as supervised several Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions. Very basic Vietnamese, almost fluent in French.
  vivek shah 4th-year Indian Computer Science student at the Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Mumbai. Vivek enjoys writing poetry, playing tabla and basketball.
  david walker 3rd-year British Chemical Engineering student at Gonville and Caius College Cambridge. Enjoys planning hiking expeditions. David has traveled extensively in western Europe as well as Gambia and east Asia. He's a keen footballer and captain of his college team.
